CUSG: Disabled Supporters Group surgery on Saturday

Disabled Supporters Group surgery on Saturday

Carlisle United Supporters Groups [CUSG] recently created a Disabled Supporters Group [DSG] to represent as many of the disability and mixed ability groups already in operation in Cumbria and the wider area as possible.

To ensure the group is representative of as many disabled fans as possible, CUSG Chairman Simon Clarkson and DSG Rep Barry Carter will be available to meet fans from 1.30pm on Saturday ahead of our FA Cup fixture against Rochdale.

Situated in the Study Centre adjacent to the Blues Store, Barry will be available to meet disabled fans and their carers who may wish to pass on feedback and raise any ongoing concerns, which will then be passed on at a future CUSG meeting to representatives of the club.

CUSG Chairman Simon Clarkson said: "We think this is a good opportunity to meet disabled fans which will help us to become truly representative when we take any issues up with the club on their behalf. We are also there to listen to any other feedback fans would like to have passed on."

Disabled Supporters Group Representative Barry Carter said: "This group is still in it's early stages but we would like to encourage as many fans as possible to come and talk to us on Saturday as we look to improve the match day experience for all disabled and mixed ability fans."
